Rozzi Crane performed his song "Ghost " acoustically on ARTISTdirect.com studies. Listen to the singer - Smoky sound , accompanied only by his guitar. There is a lovely old soul trapped in her body!
Crane also sat down to discuss the meaning behind the song as part of our exclusive See the Music series . He talked about writing the song in New York a year ago and how she was listening to the band Lauryn Hill " Doo Wop ." While she notes that "Ghost " sounds nothing like that song , it was still inspired by the same energy. Remember , inspiration does not mean " sounds like" people!
Lyrically , Crane reveals what inspired the song , too, saying she
"was a thing with a guy and you can feel it falling apart, but will not
admit it as they drive like a ghost. "
Oh , Rozzi , we totally get what you mean. We've all been there.
